Upgradation/ migration of Workspace ONE UEM server operating system from 2012R2 to 2019
Hi All,
We have Workspace ONE ver.2111 running on Server 2012R2. We need to upgrade the OS to 2019. Till now what I've discovered is that building a new UEM server on 2019 is the way to go. I tried to find some detailed document regarding the same but, have found nothing as such. Can anyone help me with detailed steps or any guide to perform this activity.
Regarding it's database, what should be kept in mind to connect it with the newly built server.
Thanks in advance!

To answer your main question, here's a link to the UEM install guide via VMware Docs (First page has preparation points, etc. - they are getting pretty good with adding that lately):
That should be accessible even without a VMware account, but you might find more in the community if you login with a VMware account.
On a side note - why only Server 2019? That server is EOL in Jan 2024 (meaning less/no support, security patches). I would advocate to jump to MS Server 2022 since you're doing a full rebuild anyway. But I understand that may come down to licenses, etc. Still - worth asking to get ahead versus just catching up to be in the same position you're in with 2012R2 right now.
