Configur Per App VPN for macOS?

Anyone know how to configure WS1 Tunnel to work with macOS?  Supposedly it's supposed to work  but even our VMware person is having issues.  So take FireFox.dmg.  Any idea how to get this to use a user VPN profile setup in WS1?  I can't find any documentation on this newer than 2018 but maybe my search is off.

Thanks for the reply.  I may not have been specific.  I am talking about macOS, not iOS and that info is still from 2019 which oddly is dated from the current version of WS1.
