Looking for some advice/help.
I've got a Windows 10 64bit PC that I'd like to run Windows 7 32bit on via a VMWare Workstation.
I've looked through the compatibility guide. It says that you can use VMWare 17.0 to run Windows 7 32bit.
https://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/pdf/VMware_GOS_Compatibility_Guide.pdf
When I go to download VMWare 17.0, it says that it's only for Windows 64-bit Operating Systems or Linux 64-bit.
Where do I find a VMWare Workstation that is compatible with Windows 7 32bit? Obviously the compatibility guide is out of date.

The software requirements listed are for the host PC it's running on... If your host is Win10 64-bit, then that's the correct software for you. If your host is a 32-bit OS, then you need a MUCH older version of Workstation (I believe 10.0.6/10.0.7 depending on Windows/Linux is the most recent which will run on a 32-bit OS.)

Thanks.
It's 100% not obvious that the requirements are for the host PC. In either the compatibility guide or the download site.

The supported host operating systems (the operating system that you're installing VMware Workstation on) for VMware Workstation are in a separate KB article: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/80807
It is noted there that Workstation versions of 12.x and later are only supported on 64-bit operating systems.
