VMware Player 17.0.0 memory limit

Hello. Im use vmware player 17. in virtual Machine settings set 8gb ram limit. But in system i see more 13Gb use ram.

What is problem?

(yes i restart and machine and windows too)

and what about VMware Workstation Pro itself? The software itself requires RAM too, no?

require 5.3GB per running machine? its crazy...

I can run one more and problem will be too.

I dont know about PRO version - i use Player
