When booting the Virtual Machine for the first time the Guest OS will see different hardware then what was on the physical machine and it will have to rectify some drivers, some of which installing VMware Tools will resolve.  However the bigger issue is going to be WPA and the fact that your trying to illegally run an OEM version of Windows in a Virtual Machine while running it on the Physical Machine you created the image from!
