ohhh this is very great!
now I'll try to boot my machine (host) with Macrium rescue cd.
then strats the macrium utility.
I'll navigate here and search the virtual machine of vmplayer (thanks your reply I am now sure that I will find it!!)
then I will restore the empty vm with my image (mrimg, or if not recognized with vhd or if not recognized with vmdk).
at the end of the restoring image process I guess that Vista will start in my VM without boot problems.
