USB-Redirection on Debian 10.1

I am using Horzion Client 5.2 on Debian 10.1. Since a while USB redirection does not work anymore. If activated, the mouse is locked into the VDI-VM (cannot break out) and keyboard does not work as well.

In the USB-redirection logs there are messages like:

2019-10-04T09:53:36.752+02:00| host-30162| I125: Remote plug-in response, PlugNo: 1, RespType: Ok, Remote Version: 4

2019-10-04T09:53:36.757+02:00| vmware-usbd| I125: USBGL: failed to set device 83 to config 1 (Das Gerät oder die Ressource ist belegt): work around triggered

2019-10-04T09:53:36.758+02:00| vmware-usbd| I125: USBGL: claimed device 83, interface 0 successfully

If I set:

view.usbAutoConnectAtStartUp = "FALSE"

view.usbAutoConnectOnInsert = "FALSE"

in ~/.vmware/view-preferences, everything works as expected, besides USB-Redirection. Manually activating a device (e.g. mouse), causes the issue again.

Besides installing the recent updates on Debian, I have upgraded the Firmware of my Dell Notebook and the attached Thunderbolt doch. For testing purpose I have disconnected the Thunderbolt Docking station and connected the devices manually, but the error stays the same.
