Thanks for your suggestion. I am experiencing this at my work. Every user that begins a new session creates a new OST. I attempted to your suggested fix but it did not work. It seems to work if I log off and then back onto the same machine that retains my profile, but when I would get on a new machine without my profile, it would create a new OST. Thanks again for your suggestion. I am open to other ideas to solve this nagging issue.
