This is usually caused by AV blocking writes to hosts file. I think you have already tried it, but if not try adding the below lines to
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Drivers\etc\hosts
127.0.0.1 view-localhost # view localhost server

I have reviewed the vminst_20230509074113.log you uploaded.
The error content was exactly the same as the Horizon Client installer log in another thread.

I ended up restoring the machine and now i've installed it just fine.
still, thank you guys, i appreciate the effort, i was in a hurry since i needed it ready for today haha
