Differance between 5.5.4 and 8.x
Hi,
I wanted to upgrade my Horizon Client from 5.5.4 to some of 8.x versions as they are sugested by my Company, but I face an issue with that.
Instalation - no problem, environment works perfectly fine except one thing - we are using Zoom client for our meetings and talks.
In 5.5.4 there was no issues but in every 8.x versions there is the same issue.
The video frames appears somwere else, out of the zoom window.
For example when I started the meeting i see a zoom window with the black video arrea and some part of the video screen on second screen on second monitor. When I'm moving zoom windows, the video picture is moving too ... so usually I can't see the video or shared screens windows at all. Only black squere.
So I had to downgrade it to 5.5.4 because I'm using zoom functionality every day....

Not sure. Horizon 8 has a great performance improvement in RTAV(i.e., Microphone and Webcam). But your problem might not be related. What's your Horizon Agent version when you are using 8.x client? Did you try another app like Teams or Webex? And did you try only single-monitor setup? Also did your Zoom peer see and hear you okay on their computer?

I haven't had a chance to check the WebEx, but on teems sharing screens looks OK. I can't check the video there.
TheHorizon Agent is 7.13.2.
The zoom issues exists on various monitor setup. I've tried 1 and 2 monitors (in extended/duplicated form), tried to change the resolution, switching the screens position. No success.
I am visible and heard well. No other issues. Only the zoom case.
