there can be many causes of your problem. First of all:
What version of horizon client are you using?
What version of horizon is installed?
What OS is installed on your laptop?
Is the laptop your own or managed by the company? and the one before was?
In the latest versions of horizon there is a TEAMS optimization feature which is a combination of a component installed with the horizon client (usually it is installed by default) and the Windows GPOs being enabled
