Windows 10 Preparing
Hallo Team,
what are tips or solutions you can provide to reduce Windows 10 Preparing time?
My image is already optimized.
Here is what happens
Windows 10 -1909 boots up. User logs in.
Group policies are executed within milliseconds and then we wait for "Windows Preparing"
30-45 seconds user has to wait.
Question
1. can this time reduced
2. what is the time observed by the environment
When I try to execute below command, I "The requested operation requires elevation". When I run under elevated prompt, I get blank screen.
Get-AppXProvisionedPackage -Online | Select PackageName

Check out this GPO for Windows 10. I have applied this to a test OU for a select clones and I found it useful to troubleshoot login times. it displays login messages so you can see what’s being applied and what actions are taken during the login.
