I am working with a customer who is unable to install the VMware Horizon Client for Windows. I have tried version 4.7 and 4.6.1. I have attached the error logs. There are a number of errors in each file but I am unable to determine what is really causing the failure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The client is Windows 10 Pro version 1709.

Does the user currently have a older version of the View Client or Horizon Client installed? Any other VMware products installed?

Based on the logs, it seems its failing on the HTML5 MMR package.
You can try installed the client without HTML5 MMR package. During installation click Customize installation and uncheck HTML 5 MMR
Or
try extracting the .exe and running the html5 msi installer manually to see if it gives you more information:
VMware-Horizon-Client-4.7.0-7395453.exe /x
cd %temp%
Find the directory it extracted too.
cd %temp%/directoryextract/AttachedContainer/
rename VMware Horizon HTML5 MMR (x64) to VMware Horizon HTML5 MMR (x64).msi
run install with log and review the log
msiexec.exe /i VMware Horizon HTML5 MMR (x64).msi /lv html5mmr.log

I've been working on this for several sessions with the person having the issue
we found out that it was due to AOL Tech Fortress (a malware blocker).
AOL Tech Fortress for AOL Members: Help Stop Computer Threats
I guess it was flagging the install as malware attemp.t
Going to settings remove program, and picking uninstall AOL Fortress allowed the
horizon client to install with no issues.
I've never seen this before... was interesting, but glad its solved, version 5.10 is now working
