Hi folks,
We have a Windows 7 Full VM pool in use. The 60GB C: drive fills up usually because of piled up Windows Updates or winSxS folder and causes a connection error until resolved.
I run patch cleaner, windows updates, usually clears space, until it fills up again.
Question:
Anyone ever use a C: Drive disk quota to help manage this problem?
I just wondering if it will effect Windows Updates or something else.
How to Set Disk Quota Limits in Windows 7/8/10
Thanks

This has plagued us for years and the best solution has been to increase the hard disk. You could look at quotas for the users profile but I would not recommend it anywhere else.
For our full VMs we've just been increasing the hard disk for growth. With linked/instant clones you can increase the hard disk and then must recompose the pool.
