How to take back a vm from a user

I use Automated Pool, persistent, no linked clones.
User "Hans" logs in using the Wyse Client and gets assigned to a computer automatically. Works flawless. Now I don't want this specific machine being assigned to "Hans" any longer. I want to revoke the user, to take the machine back and I want the user to get a new machine the next time he logs in.
When I change entitlement, he can't login any long. Of course I can destroy the machine and he gets a new one but I want to reuse this specific machine. How?
BTW for the inital login on a freshly provisioned workstation I can't use the Wyse Client. I need a login from a VM Ware View Client running on Windows to "kickstart". Strange.

You should be able to remove a user mapping by using vdmadmin.exe. See this guide for detailed instructions, .

Thank you, perfect. Hint: You must run the tool locally on the View Manager server. The path to the executable file is:

+C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware View\Server\bin\*vdmadmin.exe* -L -d <desktop_name> -m <machine_name> -r +

Any idea if this works with linked clones as well? Currently, we just delete the linked clone and let it recreate.
