View 4.5 to 5 Upgrade. Will I need new licenses?
Running View 4.5
In the License Portal my product is View Premier Add-On (View Manager and Composer) and the relevant licenses displayed that I used to install 4.5
I have 'Upgrades available' against my ESX 4 products but none for View, but I am able to download the view 5 product.
Q: Do I need NEW View 5 licenses or will my current 4.5 licenses work during the upgrade process.
My environment:-
vSphere 4.1 :
• ESX 4.1 Servers
• vCenter Server 4.1 (VM) :
- Windows Server 2008 64bit
- MS SQL 2005 (VCDB/VUMDB)
• NetBackup 6.5.5
- VCB 1.5 U1
• FC SAN

You don't see "View 5 Premier Add-on" available as an upgrade? Call vmware sales to make sure your account is accurate, maybe your sns lapsed or something.
