view composer configuration

if i uninstall view composer software, but keep the view composer database, then reinstall view composer, can i keep my view composer config?

during installation, will the data in database be erased?

Yes you can install View Composer and specify an exisiting database to utilize.  I did this when I moved from my X86 vCenter to X64.   I would do a backup just in case naything happens that could cause problems.

Yes you can. All composer configuration is saved in Composer Database.

During another installation, you can select a DSN configured which points to the same database. defenitely a database backup is recommended always.

But please make sure that your other databases are intact. (Like ADAM DB and VC database etc) and you should not change the VC configuration in between.
