Work from home with workspace one
Hi Folks
Need help for VMWARE.
I want to setup a work from home environment in my workplace.
we want to allow our user to be able to remote into our environment via a portal, so they can access either their on prem desktop or a VM (might be on Hyper-v or any other VM Host)
which product from VMWARE will be the one for that? we dont have big budger, i read a bit about VMWARE workspace one.
so as a background, we registered with citrix before, with citrix daas (this is the model we're trying to get) but they canceled our registration since we only registered for 50. the minimum for them are 250 license.

Easy. Forget Citrix I am also very familiar with Citrix. With wso you can manage your endpoints. What we do is following:
if the User has a managed device and the device matches several criterias, like it is a company device (certificate), antivirus runs etc. we trust this device. Actually it is a zero trust strategy. When all those criterias match we establish over wso an automatic Micro vpn tunnel where we can give the user access to different ressources, Network Share and also Horizon Environment. So the User can start without any Additional stuff the Horizon Desktop. If the device is untrusted user needs to give 2 Factor.
very comfortable for the Users and very secure. You can also encrypt the keyboard and mouse Input, so keylogger has no chance and it is also possibel preventing screen shots and Recordings outside the Horizon Session.
