VMware Fusion 11 license
I have an older Max that I wish to install Fusion on. The Mac maxes out at Catalina (10.15). Fusion 12 requires MacOS 11.0+, and the attempt to install Fusion 12 fails. i can install Fusion 11, but I can't find a license for it. How is it possible to get a Fusion 11.5 license today? Thanks.

You should be able to buy a v12 Pro license then downgrade it to a v11 key.

Not entirely true. Fusion 12.2.0 and later requires macOS 11 or later. Fusion 12.1.2 is supported to run on macOS 10.15 Catalina (Catalina support was dropped in Fusion 12.2.0).
You can find Fusion 12.1.2 in the VMware Customer Connect's download center: https://customerconnect.vmware.com/downloads/details?downloadGroup=FUS-1224&productId=1040
Click on the dropdown next to "Select Version" and you will find the 12.1.2 version that is the latest that will run on Catalina.
The free personal use license for Fusion 12 Player will work for this version in addition to the paid licenses for Fusion 12 Player and Fusion 12 Pro.

Thx for the response. I was able to downgrade the license and use the Fusion 11 that I installed on the Mac.

No personal use license is available for Fusion 11. They didn’t start offering one until aFusion 12.
