strangely enough I installed the pro 12 intel version and it worked fine,

when I tired to install the pro 11 intel version I get an error saying not support.

I will start using the version you mentioned. I don't really use the Mac for VMs only to manage the ESXI hosts we have and for accessing the VMs on them via console.
