pc2mac - choose folder to save VM - "insufficient permission to access the destination folder"

Hi,

when creating a VM by using Fusion and choosing the location for the VM on an external drive, I get this error message (see attachment). That, even if I can create a new folder there.

I did format the external drive in several formats. Result is the same.

- ExtFat

- APFS (several types)

Please help,

Hi all, even if I could create a subfolder from out of the "choose location" window, it failed. So I checked the permissions. The software hat permission for the Documents folder. So I tried to grant full disk access to it and... surprise... it worked. I could proceed further... At the end it crashed caused by other reasons. But his is not part of this thread.
