Fusion Player 12.1.1/Mojave Network Connection lost
I have Fusion Player 12.1.1 (17801503) running under Big Sur 11.4 Beta (20F5046g). with Personal Use Licence.
I've installed Mojave 10.4.6 vm, and note that there is a Mojave security update available from Mojave System Preferences. I attempt to install and it gets around 700 - 900MB, around 1/2 way to 1.87GB, and consistently fails with error 'The Network Connection was lost'. When first starting the Download and Install, it starts at about 200MB and for the first while it seems to download quickly saying things like 9 minutes or 18 minutes left then starts mentioning hours or days left and finally fails.
I've checked that I'm signed in to my Apple ID on the AppStore in Mojave. I currently have Firewall=off in both Mojave and the host Big Sur
I've tried both Network Adapter settings 'Share with my Mac', and 'Autodetect' and they both seem to work fine accessing the Internet from Mojave Safari.
Thx for any tips of what to try next.

Turned out that the size of my virtual disk must have been marginal, even tho the download did not complain of that. I increased the size of my virtual disk in VMware settings but it was not visible to my Mojave install until I re-partitioned from Mojave Disk Utility, then the new size was usable and the update install proceeded correctly. Yay.
