Unable to turn off Windows 10 VM on Fusion

Hi,

So I am trying to shutdown my Windows 10 VM but it is just stuck in a shutdown loop. I am using VMware Fusion 12.1.0 on a MacBook Pro. OS is Catalina 10.15.7.
Any bright minds who can help me turn off this machine?
I have tried to kill the VM machine from Activity Monitor but as I start the VM library so is the Windows machine going in the shutdown loop.

Hi,

As that was more than a day ago, I take it you managed somehow?

If not, then the "pull the power plug" alternative is to go to the menu -> Virtual Machine -> and now hold down the "Option" key on your keyboard.

The "Shut down" option will change into "Power Off".
That should turn off the machine for sure if you cannot get Windows to shut down any other way.
