I have VMware Fusion on a Macbook Air with OS SUR. It has 8GB of memory. When I try to run a Windows 10 virtual machine it says "Not enough physical memory is available to power on this virtual machine with its configured settings. Setting are 2 processor cores and minimum 1024MB (trying to get it to power up). How can I fix this? Can someone please help?

Moderator: Please try and create a thread in the area for the related product - moved to Fusion Discussions - nothing to do with Skyline.

Are you on a new M1 machine? They aren't compatible with Fusion or Intel guests.

Hi,
This is typically an error you see when you use VMware Fusion 11.x or earlier with macOS Big Sur.
You need to have at least VMware Fusion 12.x for macOS Big Sur.

Agree. Looking for support I did not say anything for Fusion so I had to pick the available options. If there was an option I would like to know which is it.

Thanks for your reply. It was the solution. I searched for a solution and had no luck. I think this is so simple that it should be readily viewed by anyone with the same situation. Again thanks!
