Issue while Scheduling Remediation of VMs using Update manager - Can't specify time only Immediately option is available
I have few questions pertaining to scheduling remediation using VMware Update Manager
1) Can I schedule remediation for individual VMs using Update Manager?
2) While scheduling remediation, always the option to specify time is disabled for me. I can only select "immediately" option. Is this a permission issue or there are limitations that I am not aware of?
If yes, where do I need to change the permissions & what level?
Note: When I read the KB Article, I interpret that as VMware stating you can only execute a Scheduled Remediation if ALL objects in a container (i.e. VM Folder orData center in vCenter inventory) are selected. If we are just picking a subset of VMs within a VM folder is the Scheduled Remediation option not available.

Yes, you can ![]()

Check if the role assigned to the user that you're using has the "Schedule Task" privilege.
