Vmware SD-Wan Edge 610 bios download

Good Afternoon All,

Where can I find the latest bios download for the SD-WAN edge 610? I am looking for the bin file. As well as the PIC and CPLD update files.

Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Hi,brood1

By "BIOS" do you mean Firmware?

Firmware cannot be obtained, but the latest Firmware can be applied from the KB below.

Thank you for your reply. I need to do it without the orcatrator if possible? EG boot from a usb and update the BIOS/CPLD/PIC as the box is blank

DELL Edge has "BIOS/CPLD/PIC ", but VMware SD-WAN does not.

I checked with VMware on SR ,Factory Software Image installation is possible via USB boot, but Firmware is not.
I got the Factory Software Image with SR from VMware.

Thank you for your reply and your help.

It looks like I'm stuck with the chicken and egg situation... Neither dell nor VMware seem to have or is willing to share the firmware for for the bios/cpld/pic on the dell sd-wan edge 610... Dell just shrugs their shoulders and say we just do the hardware and the bois/cpld/pic is VMwares issue which is weird as the bios/cpld/pic firmware is sqarely in the harware domain and well vmware doesnt talk to you at all unless you have a valid subscription. They do however say you can update the bios manually for the edge 610 in the article you sent.

This is how we are ending up with tonnes of servicable equipment as e-waste killing the planet when it could be put to use running a different OS.
