I'm trying to find out of the different edge platforms can be installed on bare metal servers? I know you can purchase hardware appliances and also edge as a VM but can it be independently installed on bare metal?

It is possible to run Virtual Edge on ESXi or KVM.I don't think it can be installed on bare metal.
