VMware Remote console 12 - mouse in window

Has anyone noticed a change in the VMRC 12 where the mouse doesn't automatically leave the console session on it's own anymore.  Or at least most of the time now.  Sometimes it does, but most time it doesn't.  Occurs with the same OS, so it's not OS related.

vCenter 7.0.3 / VMRC 12.0

I have to constantly hit Ctrl-Alt to escape the window.

I have recently updated to 7.0.3 and have not seen this at all. The only time I see this behavior is if the tools are not installed or not working/running.  Have you tried restarting the VMTools services and see if that behavior continues?

These systems have been reboot several times since this started.   It actually stared before 7.0.3, seemed like it started with VMRC 12 or maybe even an update in 11.  Not sure.  I just know that it is happening more often and not consistently.

It's really weird.

Update - this now happens on all of our SUSE servers regardless of version.  open-vm-tools & open-vm-tools-desktop are installed and running on all of them.  Version 12.1 is the latest version currently installed.

It does not happen on the windows vm's - running the vm-tools that comes with the version of esxi running.

Anyone know of any issues with open-vm-tools ?

We are running open-vm-tools on Ubuntu and CentOS and have not seen this problem.

I'm seeing this same behaviour but only after I upgraded a machine to the tools version 12320.
