vCenter Server 8.0U2 issue connecting to vm's

I recently had to reinstall my vCenter Server VM (version 8.0U2). Whenever I attempt to change the settings on a VM I get the below pictured error. Other issue is that now my vCenter server gets stuck just after the initial login screen. The blue circle just keeps on spinning. Can't get in at all now.

It randomly started functioning.

Login to vCenter cli and see if all the services are up and runing. Also run esxtop command to check the resource utilization of the server.
