How to shrink os disk a vm ubuntu on vsan datastore
Hi !!
I use vcenter 7.0 has vsan cluster. I want shrink disk smaller but error. I use Ubuntu server 20.0.5.

You can't set the VMDK to be a lower size. You would need to create a new VMDK and move the data. What you can do is convert the disk to Thin and apply the appropriate vSAN Storage Policy so the disk consumes less on vSAN. You will physically consume only what is being consumed by the Guest OS, but that's about the only two options you have that I am aware of.
