vcenter server -VmDir state in Read-only
Hi ,
We have 2 vCenter server .One of the vCenter Server having the issue . vCenter server error- VmDir state in Read-only.
how to fix - VmDir state in Read-only issue?

Please contact VMware Support as this requires some time to fix.
If there are underlying problems to vmdird it will again fall back to null or read-only. Make sure to have backup's and powered off snapshots of both VCSA's before support makes any changes

This doesn't make much sense to me. There's no fix or script? Do you have to build a lab?

There is (fixing PSC/VMDIR replication inconsistencies using shell script but that is internal which could not publish here

Hello
Can you check the replication status on both the VC once .
Did we reverted snapshot on any one VC ?
Did you try adding setting vmdir state to normal and did it revert back to read only ?
