Converting Windows 7,8, XP & Vista Machines with vCenter Converter 6.3
Dear community,
I was looking to remotely convert Windows XP, 7, 8 and Vista machines using vCenter Converter 6.3. Now, I am aware that these OSes are no longer supported by version 6.3 and version 6.2 is no longer supported by VMware. However, when I look at the release notes for 6.3, I see some quick fixes when using Windows 7 or Vista. Would it be wrong to think that I CAN convert older Windows version using Converter 6.3, but with some adjustments?
If anyone has any experience doing the same, please enlighten me!

Im not sure if you got my last query. but did you do a V2V conversion using any of the legacy OS mentioned in OG query? If so, how was your experience doing it?

So, did Converter v6.3 successfully run on and convert a physical Windows 7 system to a virtual machine.
