VCSA 6.5 U2b Sha and RPM Stuck Error!
Hi,
i am trying to deploy the last vCenter Applicance VCSA 6.5 U2b.
This is my LAB:
- ESXI 6.5 HPE custom trial license
- Domain Controller / DNS / NTP Server
- Workstation used for deploing
I downloaded the last version of VCSA but i got the first error: SHA1 digest of file VMware-vCenter-Server-Appliance-......vmdk does not match manifest
Then I deleted the Manifest file .mf from the OVA file and the installation proceeded until the installation of RPM: Stucked to 80%
I checked the log file:
Failed to get url of file in guest vm:ServerFaultCode: Failed to authenticate with the guest operating system using the supplied credentials.
[12]pollRpmInstallProgress:getGuestFileErr:ServerFaultCode: Failed to authenticate with the guest operating system using the supplied credentials.
I tried all the possible solution find online like disable Antivirus, Resolve DNS, Use NTP
P.S: Before use this version I tried 4 other 6.5 version.
Someone can help me?

Can you try deploying the latest build vCSA 6.5 U2b - 8815520?
FYI, upgrade from 6.5 U2 to 6.7 is not supported. So you may want to go with vCSA 6.7 directly. Also, this issue does not seem to be present in version 6.7.
Please consider marking this answer as "correct" or "helpful" if you think your questions have been answered.
Cheers,
Supreet

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to deploy the OVA directly in VMware Workstation, i.e. not trough the installation wizard?
Maybe the steps explained in https://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2016/10/how-to-deploy-the-vcenter-server-appliance-vcsa-6-5-running-... will help.
