Chart option for virtual machine disk status

If i want to monitor disk status such as read/write status and latency which object had to select in chart option virtual disk or disk ?

Virtual Disk and than the Latency metrics. What kind of metrics are available and for which selected period depend on the setting of the statistic level choosen in in the vcenter settings.

but in first step I want to know what is difference between Disk and virtual Disk in chart option ?

when do i had to select disk and when select virtual disk ?

Disk shows information about the LUN and virtual disk about the virtual disks of a VM.

But I want see virtual disk latency and this metric is not in virtual disk and had to select Disk

now how can see virtual disk's latency ?

Oh... than your vSphere must be a special one because in the last ten years i found Read and Write latency metrics in ms or μs under the Virtual disk category within vCenter.

AGAIN ... the metrics depends on the statistic level within vcenter configuration.
