VCSA 6.5 & HPE OneView

Hello,

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask a question about HPE product or not, but I hope that any of you may have had the same issues with this product. All I am trying to do is to implement the "Proactive HA provider" for my HPE servers in vSphere clusters, HPE support has given me this product |"HPE OneView for vCenter Server" which is supposed to be injecting the HA provider plugin into the clusters, but this never happens, I cannot find the HPE Proactive HA provider in the "Proactive HA" settings in the cluster configuration, and the user's guide that comes with the product is very poor and lacks a lot of information, HPE support response is tool delayed and lacks info as well.

If anybody here has implemented this function in his/her environment, could you please teach me the "How-to"?  I have blade and rack-mount servers from HPE, Gen 8 and 9.

Thanks,

If you review the following HPE documents, it may help answer your questions for 6.5 Proactive HA integration with vCenter via the OneView for vCenter plug-in.

Hi,

The HPE P-HA Provider requires HPE OneView. All hosts in the cluster must by Monitored or Managed by HPE OneView.
