Jumbo Frames on vCenter 6.5
I have an iSCSI SAN behind a Dell switch configured with Jumbo Frame support.
On the VMware side, I can set the MTU to 9K on the vSwitch and the vmkernel adapters. Do I need to set both or is the vswitch sufficient?
Tried to change the vmkernel adapter in addition to the vswitch on a running machine and it seemed to cause an issue.
Thanks!

Hi jacksonp it should be changed on both - if you change the MTU to 9000 on the vSwitch it can carry packets of any size up to 9000. It needs to be configured end to end to ensure that size is being used.
