Hi,

we're trying to switch our LDAP connectiong to LDAPS. For some reason this just doesn't work.

According to VMware(Configure CA Certificates in App Volumes Manager ) we need to configure the CA certificates, which I did. I also added all of the DC certificates and the intermediate certificate as well. As soon as I try to switch the connection to LDAPS, I receive the error message that the credentials are wrong. In the activity log I get the following entries.

Active Directory error: SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=error: certificate verify failed (unable to get local issuer certificate)

If I ignore certificates, it works but obviously we don't want this solution.

Does anyone already have this working? Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Same issue with AppVolumes 4

I think this is ryby and openssl, they not see CA cert which signed AD controller cert
Trying using things in this document not helping

FYI, almost 3 years later and this still doesn't work.
