Upgrade my vDS to 10 GB

I'm running a 12 host cluster (all 7.0.3) where I've set 3 of the hosts to use 10 GB uplinks on the same vDS as the other 9 hosts that are useing 1 GB uplinks. I understand that this isn't preferred but I'm curious if the vDS (with these mixed uplink speeds) can effectivly do 10 GB now.

Or, since this is all virtual, does it not matter and the vmGuests will operate at whatever linerate their hosts are set at - irrespective of what the vDS is showing in the screenshot below?

It's not a good idea to mix uplinks with different speed on vDS because you'll get the speed of the slowest uplink. I also has this issue on one vCenter.

If you want to use 10G uplinks on hosts, you should move it to another switch. Or upgrade 9 hosts to 10G.
