VDS teaming question
Can someone explain why I might choose between these 2 VDS configurations. I have hypervisors that each have 2 10Gb nice for data. I was going to put both pics as Active uplinks in all port groups. We are not using LAG or anting, each uplink is physical connected to a different switch.
I was also considering an 1 uplink as Active and 1 uplink as Standby in all port groups.
I am just unsure what to do for the safest option.

If there is Single vDS configured and vmk port groups and Virtual machine port groups all need to be on same vDS , then its better both uplinks are available for all the port groups and both the uplinks are active . It would separate traffic to different uplinks , also suggested that load balancing algorithms to be used is "Route Based on Originating Virtual Port" .
