iscsi storages are missing after ESX host upgration
Hello
I have upgrated hosts from ESX 4.1 to ESXi 5.0 after upgrade i found that Iscsi storages are missing and it took 2 hrs for reboot ,why its happened like this whats the solution for this
mainly how can i get back those Missed storages at my VMware environment.

If you still can see the LUNs, try to "add storage" under configuration > storage and check if you can remount them.
If not, try to reconstruct your partition tables, if they don't exists, as per KB http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1002281

Regarding the boot time, it looks like the LUNs were not detected at all. Please take a look at the "Storage Adapters" section to see whether they are detected. If they show up you may want to check whether they were detected as "snapshots" for any reason (see http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1011387)

also ESX50Update01 has been released, you can upgrade to ESX50Update01 which has the bug fix.
