Restored machines after ESXi upgrade don't works fine

Hi.

I've added a second SSD drive to my ESXi server and created a RAID 1 configuration.

After that I've re-installed the ESXi last version available from the VMware site : 7.0U3n-21930508 and then applied the last patch available : VMware-ESXi-7.0U3o-22348816-depot.

Then I've restored Veeam backups that were made on the server before to upgrade it and when on it was the previous version of ESXi installed: 7.0.3 build 21053776.

Even if initially all seems works fine, after few minutes, all the machine becomes unavailable.

I.e. one of this restored machine shows this informations but don't works fine:

Any idea?

You should check the logs of both the system and the virtual machines and look for error events, based only on the screenshots you have reported unfortunately there is not much on which to formulate reasonable opinions (in my opinion, obviously).

Hi Ferdinando.

Issue solved.

It was a problem related to finalizations of backups on Veeam.

No issue related to ESXi upgrades.
