Hi OrestDautovi,

You can upgrade the ESXi, but once you have version 6.0 you will also need to upgrade the license from 5.x to 6.x. Remember also that the End of General Support for vSphere 6.0 was March 12, 2020.

If you are running anything like production workloads, note that only 6.5 and later is supported and updated.
