Difference Between VMM and MMU
Dear VMware Experts,
I have some Query regarding VMM and MMU, following are the queries....
VMM:
1)as per my knowledge,VMM is virtualizing Physical CPU and Memory resources and handover the same to VM. -- Is it rite ??
2)VMM is the inbuild process of VMkernel --- ???
3)VMM process born with once we power on the VM ---- ???
4) Does VMkernal has one Parent Process VMM which virtualize CPU and Memory and handover to VM child VMM process --- ???
MMU : Once Memory is Virtualized by VMM, then with the help of vMMU it is allocated to VM Guest Operating System ----- ?
vMMU : what is vMMU is it a process of VMkernel ----???
MMU : What is MMU--- ?? is it the inbuilt feature of new version of CPU-- ??
Need to know the difference between VMM and MMU
Regards
Mr VMware.
