Slow backup performance

Hi all

We've got several problems with VMware backup hotadd mode with Commvault

Backup performance is about less 60 Gb/min

In vmkerel.log we've found these entries

If we use windows backup from guest VM, backup runs about 120MB/s

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Matteo

Hi..

A few quick questions...

From where do you get these numbers? Are you using deduplication with CommVault for this backup job? What Commvault version and SP level are you running?

Hi,

check this Log spew, there is mentioned new bnx2x driver, which may fix the issue.
