Migrate to V Sphere 6 from 5.0

Hi

I am currently running 3 ESXi 5.0 hosts in a cluster. I am looking to eventually purchase 3 new Host as well as new storage.

How would you go about migrating to the new hardware? Would you attach all new hardware to the current cluster and them migrate the VMs etc then decommission the old hardware?
