Hi,
So for adding NFS storage to vSphere I found the below best practices, if anyone can confirm or add to it...
Add a new vmkernel on each host in the same subnet as the NFS server
Create a new VLAN and a new Distributed PortGroup mapped to it
Connect the vmkernel to the new Distributed PortGroup
A question I have, should NFS have its own vSwitch/dvSwitch or it is fine to have it connected to a Distributed PortGroup on the same dvSwitch/physical ports the VM's are using?
Thanks
