Quiesce guest file system(requires VM tools) - VMware Technology Network VMTN

I am unable to to take Quiesce guest file system

Create virtual machine snapshot
TargetXXXXXXX
StatusAn error occurred while quiescing the virtual machine. See the virtual machine's event log for details.

Please assist.

Have you checked the events log for more details? any specific error you are getting?

Please install or update the VMware tools on the machine and then try to take the snapshot
