One way is to go to datastore and check the last updated date and time of VM's files specially .nvram

Yea with you on that, check out the vmware.log file in datastore folder where the VM is located.

No It is wrong, as i observed one vm is in power off mode since more than one month but data staore log file it is showing recent date. so any command is there to check the details

 Is it mandatory to assign public IP to vCenter Appliance or if already public IP assigned can we remove, please suggest

 

Already public IP is assigned to vcenter appliance & also local IP is assigned so if we remove the public IP is there any impact?

The most important thing is to protect your infra and update your product to latest version to make it less vulnerable. So private ip with NAT is good idea as it will reach to internet and take update from there. If vcenter is your in-house product, not deployed in a public space, I don't think it's a good idea to have a public ip.

Thanks for the information so i just want to know if i remove the public IP assigned to vcenter appliance is there any impact..? any have local IP is assigned to vcenter appliance.. please confirm.

Removing public ip will not impact on vCenter. Just to check local ip have internet access if you want to download update directly or you have to use proxy to reach internet.
