FT limitation
As I know we have 2 limitation on FT when using enterprise plus license
1- Number of vcpu
2- Number of protect vms
Number of vcpu is 8 and NUmber of protect vm is 4
I have confused for example I have 10 esxi hosts in my cluster
1- Does it mean maximum number of vms in the cluster that we can protect is 10 vms ?
2- Does it mean we can enable FT on a vm that has maximum 8vcpu ?

So, as you know, the limitation on Fault Tolerance is 8 vCPU with the license you have and 4 VMs per Host (Changeable with an advanced parameter: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.avail.doc/GUID-57929CF0-DA9B-407A-B...)
If you do not change any parameter at all, you can protect 4 VMs per Host, so in your case it will be 40 VMs. But at the same time these 4 VMs cannot be in total more than 8vCPU as that is a hard limit per host.
If we follow the same example, to protect 40 VMs, each of the VMs will need to have 2 vCPUs to reach the limit of 8 vCPU.
Hope this is clear.
