Host disconnection in vcenter

Hello,

I currently have a vcenter host that contains two ESXI hosts.

Host ESXI01 is connected to the vcenter through its public ip 45.X.X.X
Host ESXI02 is connected to the vcenter by its local IP 10.0.0.1
And the vcenter is local 10.0.0.2

I have no disconnection with the ESXI02 host but with the ESXI01 host I have disconnection between the host and the vcenter every 5/10 minutes.

I saw some tutorials that told me to change the IP in the vpxa.cfg file but the file doesn't exist in ESXI version 7.0.3.

Would you have a solution?

Sorry for the problem, would it be possible to redirect my post to the correct thread?

If a Host join a vCenter a agent will be deloyed and configured together with the creation of a vpxa user accout. The vCenter than waits if the agent is sending informations. If nothing comes within a short period of time the vCenter drops the Host.

Iam surprised too.... there is no vpxa.cfg or conf any more in 7.0.3. Hmmm.

Joerg

This is correct, there is no vpxa.cfg on 7.0.U3.

Here the KB to explain you why and how to modify it using json file :
